How to keep ourselves sane and floating in these uncertain times that we all are witnessing?? The number of positive cases is increasing every day. The media is flooded with negative news. There is uncertainty looming all around. It's a real challenge to keep ourselves strong, both mentally and physically. 

The good news however is, it really is easily attainable if we are mindful of just a few things, on a regular basis. 

There are three areas of our lives where we have to pay attention and put in our maximum effort.

Number one is our mental health. It is said that all the battles are first fought in the mind and also that if you can control your thoughts you can achieve anything you want! cutting down our exposure to negative media will have a miraculous effect on our thinking pattern. It will also help in keeping one's thoughts positive. Ten minutes of meditation, twice a day will aid the effect.

The second thing is to take care of our physical health. Half an hour's work out of any type will boost our positivity remarkably. We can try a new type of physical activity every day, which will keep the motivation going for a long time. Dancercise, Aerobics, rhythmic walk, weight training; there is a wide variety to choose from.

The third crucial thing is to keep ourselves engaged, constructively. Our generation is lucky to have so many avenues online and offline. we are just a finger-tap away to learn new skills and update our knowledge, without even stepping out. Develop a new hobby or fulfill your long pending desire to learn a particular artform. 
Alternatively, you can create a platform, to teach some of your skills to the people out there. There are many many options, one just needs to explore and execute. 

So, we understand that the choice is really ours, whether to go with the flow and drain ourselves in the negativity or to face the storm up front, stand firmly, and keep ourselves afloat. Above all, a very positive mantra to recite often is "This too shall Pass".
